About the University of Bucharest

The University of Bucharest was established in 1864, through the reunion of three faculties: Faculty of Law, Faculty od Sciences and Faculty of Letters. Other faculties were added during the years. Nowadays the University has 19 faculties. About 3.000 professors teach to about 30.000 students.
