Neguleºti Glassware Factory functioned in the village of Neguleºti from Piatra ªoimului commune, Neamþ county (former Calu-Iapa commune). The village is placed at about 10 kilometres from Roznov. The factory was built at the beginning of the 20th century, and it used local raw materials. Badly damaged by a fire in 1913, the factory bankrupted in 1928. Some of the workers of the factory were Poles from Poland. Neguleºti is also known for the local balneal sanitarium, that functioned with several interruptions (established in 1874, last reopening in 2010).
