In 2004, Republic of Moldova marked the 380th anniversary of the birth of Metropolitan Dosoftei by issuing a commemorative silver coin of 50 lei dedicated to him. The page for this coin presents more information about Dosoftei and his work.

In the icon represented on the coin, the saint holds a book named DUMNEZĂIASCA LITURGHIE. This is a reference to the fact that Dosoftei printed the "Dumnezăiasca liturghie" (Divine Liturgy) in the printing house in Iași (which he himself re-established). The book appeared in 1679, followed in 1683 by a second, supplemented edition.
