|Reverse: an image of Mircea cel Bătrîn inside an oval medallion, semicircular inscription "MIRCEA CEL BATRAN 1386-1418" meaning "MIRCEA THE OLD", two arcs made from small rectangles, resembling the adorning bands made from colored bricks on the outer walls of the church at Cozia Monastery

Mircea cel Bătrîn appears on a silver 10 lei anniversary coin from Christian Feudal Art Monuments series. The Walachian voivod is represented on several silver ducats struck somewhere during his long reign.
The church of Cozia Monastery is represented also on the 10 lei 2010 silver coin dedicated to the poet Grigore Alexandrescu.
The issue has also a circulation variant, with the face value of 50 bani.
