The good quality 2 bani 1879 and 1880 coins pictures above are present on Romanian coins through the kind permission of an anonymous donor.
The pictures of 1880 coin (with broken C) are present on Romanian coins thanks to a kind contribution of Mr Andru C.
The pictures of an 1881 coin (rare and well priced in catalogs) and of the doubly struck coins are present on Romanian coins thanks to a kind contribution of Mr Radu Lissner.
The images above feature to striking errors of the 2 bani coin of 1880. The image at left shows both a legend and an effigy displacement. The coin at right features double imprinting for the legend, the effigy not being affected.
