The church dedicatory inscription is divided into two registers. The one on the left is written in Greek. On the first two lines of the inscription on the right, which is written in Romanian with Cyrillic letters, one can read: “This holy and divine church was built...”. At the bottom appears the year 1724, in which the church was built.
