After Schäffer [1], Marinescu's store was in the town of Piteşti, on the Tîrgu din Vale street, at no. 7.

In the "SOCEC Yearbook of Greater Romania" [2], a Marinescu Ion is listed as a grocer and also as a "tavern keeper" in Piteşti. His shop was on Elisabeta Boulevard.
